Hm, it seems like Loremo AG has not registered for the automotive X-Prize, at least in the first batch which includes Aptera, MDI, VRI-WWU, Zap among other well known companies, projects and university teams.

This is bad decision just from the PR perspective, I hope we can get some serious answers soon.

As far as I know, Loremo does not fit the requirements which are defined in the X-Prize-Rules (such as room for 4 adults).

This however brings up the question why a two-seater like Aptera is still in the race. Are they developing an modified X-prize-Version?

Hi Tomtom, see the rules:

VEHICLE CLASSES
The AXP will offer two vehicle classes: Mainstream and Alternative. The classes have the same requirements for fuel economy and emissions, but different design constraints.

- Mainstream class – 4+ passenger vehicles with 4+ wheels that meet conventional expectations for size and capability

- Alternative class – An outlet for innovative ideas that push forward today's conventions about automotive transportation (2+ passengers, no requirement on number of wheels)

Aptera is entered in the alternative class (as Loremo also would/should be)
