Revision of technial data
Donnerstag, 29 November 2007

Dear Loremoans

We have had to revise the technical data and to modify some values. The most critical is the increase in acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h (or 0 to 63 mph) to the familiar less than 20s. We are gravitating to a a 6-speed gear box with manual shift and do not envisage to have an automatic transmission available right from the start of production. This will come at a later date. The manual transmission will permit the stated acceleration.
The cw value is an estimate for a new, improved design and the effective frontal area will be 0,24 m² (cw x area). We have recalculated the vehicle weight because our test vehicle currently weighs in at 520 kg. The outer shell of high quality laminate will save some weight in the series production and the chassis of the test vehicle still contains some components of other series vehicles, that are by far too heavy for the purpose. Weighed this against the still missing parts that will make the final product, we estimate to arrive at a vehicle weight around the current value of 520 kg.
All values are still subject to changes during further development.

Kind regards

Uli Sommer
